I don’t have much time but i thought that i would just update you on what is happening currently. I am going to OR today at 6! WOOT! WAAAH! It is going to be super fun and amazing but i am going to miss my friends that can’t come! Someone is in a better mood today and not as moody. Both are having an ok day so far. I think they will have a good time. I know i am!!!!!!!
Blaylock is AMAZING AND I CAN’T WAIT!
We are leaving at 6 and i am going to call my dad as soon as we get over the border. The only reason i have time today to write is cause i am stuck down here at the school building waiting for Nessy to give me my uniform. She is gone right now but will be back in 10-15 minutes so i am going to just sit here and type. Things are going to be interesting this weekend to say the least. But anyways…Craig is feeling better and I am glad cause i wouldn’t want a sick and grumpy Craig driving a load of crazy teens around! lol ![]()
Well, i think i will go now cause i don’t feel like writing anything else!
LOVE YOU TONS (dont ever forget that!)
Love, Yanni

I don’t get a lot of stuff. But you know what? THAT IS OK. I will live….I guess…..Well, anyways…I need to go now.

The Life Story of Yannika Stafford
•September 3, 2009 • 3 Comments
“Dearly Beloved we are gathered here together to unite two people as one…..”
Isn’t it amazing?! I can’t believe it! But I guess you probably want me to back up a little and introduce myself. I am Yannika Renee Stafford. I was born on January 6, 1993 at Walla Walla General Hospital. As a child I was a typical “first-born”, bossy, demanding, and a perfect little “center stage” girl. Even now I am still a very ”out there” person and quite choleric!
Throughout the years, many of my friends have thought of me as a perfectionist with everything having a place and most of the time everything being in that place. I am a “Girl” in every sense of the word and yet don’t necessarily mind getting dirty……sometimes! (As long as there is an ok plumbing facility in the area and a shower is Guaranteed after the weekend.) I seem to be tough but am really, tender. I put on brave or unconcerned fronts when something is wrong but all my closest friends know when I am having a bad day. I am sophisticated and stylish, a fur coat and fashion glasses type person but at the same time, I like homey things and I still have a snuggle blankey (Shhh). You could classify me as someone who definitely has an opinion and is not too terribly shy to speak her mind. If there is not a leader in the situation, I, depending on that situation, will take charge. But amongst all this, I love to be there for people when they need me and am more than willing to give hugs and encouragement to people who need them.
Anyways, after that random character sketch….
As I was growing up, my parents added three more girls to the family which helped me very much in the curving of my “first-born” attitude. They are all so sweet. I mean we all had, and still have, our “touch me and you’re dead” moments but they are very few and far between.
Well, as my sisters and I were growing up, we had the joy (or was it the pain?) of moving over sixteen times (coming up on the 17th one!). The longest time we have ever spent in one given house has been probably five years. (Ooooh, short time I know.) I have lived in Washington, Texas, Michigan, and even Alaska (my favorite)! During high school, I attended Fountainview Academy and had enough fun times and calling cards to last a life time. During my time there I met many good friends, some of which are here.
After I graduated from Fountainview, I took a year off from school to work part-time at Starbucks and part time working with a close family friend in the Insurance business. The next year I was off to university to study Pedodontics (dentists for kids!). During that time I reconnected with a childhood friend and we started talking… Eventually we announced our engagement to our families and the wedding was on! And here I am now, waiting for the preacher to quit the ceremony so I can say…“I do!”
….5 Years Later….
Well, 5 years and 2 kids later, here I am, living a busy but wonderful life. I have learned so much being married and becoming a parent. It has been a difficult yet fun thing to raise children to be upstanding children of Christ. But amid diapers, drools, late nights, cooking, and doing online classes on Interior Design, and of course spending time with my husband, I have found some time to stay in touch with my girl friend from high school who lives in Connecticut. With my husband and I living in Chicago, it is hard for us friends to see each other anymore. So to solve that, we have decided to take a five day vacation to Boston. We are dropping the kids with the grandparents. The hubbies are on call and not able to go. Too bad! So the date is set and we have planned a most GLORIOUS time! With old-style pastry shops, formal restaurants, high fashion shopping (with Josie buying the majority of the clothes), and a good share of Starbucks coffees, Josie Pye and I will have the most fun in the world!
….30 Years Later….
Many anniversaries and girl friend dates later, my husband and I are middle age and very happy with six wonderful grandchildren. We often take them to visit Connecticut to see “Aunty Jo”. Our life has been a full, busy, loving, and amazing one.
….25 Years Later….
“As a sister, daughter, wife, mother, and grandma, Yannika was always committed her whole heart to those she knew. She always seemed to know when someone was down but didn’t push them to talk. She had good family values and spent a lot of time in God’s Word learning from Him. Once special thing that I remember is that she loved to walk along the beach, barefoot in the waves. We all loved her so much and will miss her.”
NEW SCHOOL YEAR
•August 31, 2009 • Leave a CommentWow! This year has started out very complicated. Summer has been infultrating my year and it is very interesting. I have been doing good though. Some very exciting and strange and interesting things have happened…Like i said……very interesting start to my year. But yeah. So my first week of school was good. It feels like i have been at school for at least a month already. Seems like Oct. break should be rolling around anytime now. I can’t wait for Kamloops trip. It is going to be a blast! Um…….
Oh, well….LOL…i don’t know what else to right so i am going to sign out now… OUR homework is INSANE! SOOOO many “large” assignments that are due. So i need to go. TTUL
Hey…….
•June 12, 2009 • 4 CommentsOk….I have like ZIP time because I am so super busy but to basically fill you in on the general gist of my weeks. Last weekend the entire school split up and went on seperate campouts. The juniors and seniors went to the lake, the freshmen went to Abbotsford, and the Sophmores (me!) went backpacking up to the Stryne cabin. It was a KILLER hike. I had a melt down about 1/2 hour from the top but eventually made it. It was fun once we got up there. Several water fights and a food fight happened. I didn’t get involved but it was hilarious to watch. Some of the girls had an encounter with “Phyllis”……the rat. I thankfully did though!!!!! Anyways…We had an absolute BALL!!!!!! It was amazing. Yeah….
Then we had a 5 day week day this week but today I was able to go to Kamloops for my last ortho appointment of the year! It was fun because it was Melissa’s birthday today. We sang to her like 1/2 a dozen times and only maybe a quarter of those were sung in tune! It was fun. Then Seth almost helped catch a thief that ran from Wal-Mart up to the mall. The RCMP were there and security and a bunch of stuff. It was crazy but kind of cool. lol
Anyways…….yeah. I need to go now because I REALLY REALLY have a provincial to study for. I was able to do some homework today but not much….you know how it goes….but yeah. So i have a ton of work to do. I will probably catch you up later….some time AFTER grad and the provincial. So don’t expect a post until at LEAST end of June! lol
K? Alright well now that I have left you hanging….I will go finish my homework. Love ya!
TRY!
•June 3, 2009 • 2 CommentsI am really really really trying hard to be positive about everything….
AND AM FAILING! I need prayers. I think that this is going to be a rougher week. But I don’t want to be negative or sad, mad, or frusterated. This is really hard……………..But yeah!!!!! My life is in roller-coaster mode. Ups and downs. Highs and lows. I feel happy and depressed. Glad and mad…AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANYWAYS!!!!! Pray….pray…..pray….pray……..
Be happy in all things
•June 1, 2009 • 1 Comment“I will not let small unimportant things ruin my day or morning.”
This is my decision this morning. To have a good day in-spite of annoyances. I had such a good day yesterday. We recorded the last of our songs! I was happy! I also got a message from some one that made my day even better because they had worked out an issue with one of their friends. I am so glad that it is all good now. Also I have my summer schedule planned out! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
I am sooooo happy that it is June. ONLY 21 more days till HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is going to be an amazing summer! I can’t wait. And in the middle of my “strict” schedule I get to
- go to Grandma’s for a week – hopefully see my friends in Spokane – drive my “brother” around and – DRIVE, DRIVE, DRIVE!!!!!!!
I simply CAN”T WAIT!!! to get my license! I am gong to have soooooooooooooooooooo much fun. Although i think that classes might be stressful! But oh well, it will all pay off eventually!
Ok, well now that I have told you what is really exciting in my life, i need to buckle down and get some things done. Since I have the morning off because 1. we aren’t going to the lake now till noon. and 2. we finished recording, I need to do things like laundry, pack for the afternoon lake trip, Clean My Room, and make sure I catch up on studies that i haven’t finished in my homework.
So i should go now! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
