Some Saipan Senses (July 1)
Sights:
-tile floors
-pink walls
- a peek at the back yard through a crack in the blinds
Smells:
-Plumeria blossoms
- muggy air (you know that smells…)
Sounds:
-The fan humming
-The laundry running
-Kids playing
- My keys typing
Touch:
-The thick air
-fan blowing wind on me
-my back sticking to the wall
- the soft sheet on my bed
This was recorded at 5 PM…just before leaving for the street market.
