Hello world!

My name is Yannika. I live at a boarding school in British Columbia. We have a music program here and we travel a lot. I am in Grade 10. I take English and Science 10 this semester and Math and Social Studies next semester. I play flute and piano. This blog is basically for all my friends and family so they can keep tabs on what is happening in my life. I hope you enjoy. Nothing really exciting happens here but once in a while something exciting has to happen so this is what this blog is for, my mundane duties, and also my fun and exciting ones!

~This last weekend we had a tour down to Abbotsford and Langley, B.C. We went down on Friday and did a concert, spent the night at a house our school owns in Abbotsford and then went down to Langley to have a concert on Sabbath morning and afternoon. We got to listen to a lecture by Walter J. Veith, who works for the Amazing Discoveries ministry. It was really neat. I got to talk to him afterwards and really was encouraged. It was really fun.  Anyways…That is what I did this last weekend. Hope you enjoy my little tidbits of the life of a high school student!
